Today is a very special day. Today, we saw the first SHSC step down and replaced with the 2nd SHSC in a rather interesting but first of its kind here type of ceremony. It also mean that I will finally get the full commitment (at least the SCs) from the year 6 to mug hard together for their coming 'A' levels and it represent their very first step towards their brighter future. I'm sure their future will be much brighter than mine.
But one of the keys to being successful in life is really knowing what you want in the first place. I may not be successful, but I'm pretty sure that successful people know what they want to achieve before they were successful.
At the end of last year, many students asked me what subjects should they be taking, and most of the time, I answer them with a question.
"What you want to be in the future?"Some will say they want to be a doctor, one of them aspires to be a mathematician, others say they want to teach and some will stare at me blankly and tell me this
"That's the problem, I don't know!"When I was an 18 year old, I spent some time pondering over this question before my 'A' levels as I'm reaching a crossroad in life. I came out with 3 things that I wanted.
Opps... look at the time, it's bedtime for me now....
Maybe I'll share more about the 3 things in the future... nights.
(Do you have 3 things that you want in life?)
