Minolta Beercan Flowers

Recenlty I like to bring my Minolta "Beercan", a relatively fast (constant f4 aperture) and solid antique lens older than all of my students, out for a walk taking photographs of many things. Here's some flowers from Mt Sinai and NUS taken with this classic lens (now image stabilized on Alpha)

Flowers on trees are challenging to frame... This is the best I could do on second floor. Just a bit too far from me...

Another on the tree flower, I climbed up and down science faculty and climbed out to the side railings to get close up shots.

I forgot the orientation for my shots... lol.. but this look nice to me..

Once again, I don't know the names to these flowers, but I know biologists has this book of flowers with photos and descriptions to help them identify different species. For me, I would probably name them 5 petals yellow, 4 petals orange etc... (Though I may even be wrong about the number of petals)
