I celebrate my first teacher's day today as a full time teacher and had my first teacher's day dinner 2 days back which was the first time I had a hand in organising. So many first time in a few days. LOL. So here's part one of a series of photos for the many first times.
The theme of the dinner is a night at the movies. No prize for guessing which movie this table had chosen.
It was a rainy night so the guest slowly came into the ballroom

Hagrid, Professor McGonagall and Harry Potter decided to grace our table of Hogwarts
Hagrid had to drink with straws because he didn't wanted to dirty his bushy beard. I think it's hilarious!
Photos of the Hogwart school of magic with Professor Dumbledore, who came late but just in time to make all the food magically appear in front of us (via waiters)
We were seated next to a group of soccer fans under "Bend it like Beckham"
The biggest hit of the day was a fashion parade featuring many staff of the school.
At least they had lots of fun on the runway

And finally everybody voted, with their coins for their best dressed individual..
It's a shame that there isn't time to play my game but at least I did contribute some ideas to the parade which was so successful. Thank goodness the day after was celebrations only.
