Have been really busy lately and suddenly National day is over and now, the weekend is coming to an end too. Many photos to upload but no time to sort them up... so just put up this interesting shot taken few days back.
Ever noticed that during the month of August, some government zealots would happily decorate the many HDB flats around Singapore with our national flags, particularly those at strategic locations? This photo was taken near a shopping centre in the west. And like many flats in Singapore, the residents are a "patriotic" bunch with Singapore flags hanging out from almost all the units (except for those staying at the corner house).
Even though it's the month of August, residents also need to hang their washing to dry out in the Sun mah... I think the family give face by leaving the flag alone, at least most of it. But to see the national flag along the tees, blankets and mats, that's quite a scene too.
